North Sea (in simplified Chinese 北海) is located in the center of Beijing, near the Millennium has a history as the “world’s oldest park built Imperial Royal Park” and it is a classical imperial garden in our country set a lot of art into a jewel.

North Sea has a long history. Far away in the ninth century AD, there is a lake, the Liao Dynasty emperors turned it into the amusement park, called “Yao Island”, and the lake on the island has Qionghua Dian Guang Han architecture and so on. Kim Dading three years (AD 1163), the lakes were dug to extend Island, and on the island and stack rockery stone chamber, there was a large number of plant flowers and trees, so that here becomes the scenic Royal Park Royal. From Yuan to Qin Island the greatest construction was it as the center of Imperial, and therefore the Qionghua Royal Island was turned into Longevity Hill Park, after multiple expansion of the Ming Dynasty. In Qing Shunzhi eight years (AD 1651), in the Canton Hall of site on cold baita built. During the Qianlong period (1736-1795 years), there were also a lot of expansions. After the construction of history, the North Sea both the Royal Hong-li gardens, temples and religious solemnity of the building, but also learn from the South beautiful gardens, and its superb garden art, classical gardens in China with an important position.

North Sea has a total area of 682 hectares, of which 293 hectares land area, surface area of 389 hectares. Park has Qin Island as the center, and all the structures of the North Sea were determined by the position of Qin Island.
