Beijing Tomb of 318 Incident (in simplified Chinese 北京三一八烈士墓) is located  at the southwest corner of Haidian District, and there are the Yuanmingyuan Ruins nearby. In 1929, it was built to commemorate the 1926 “318″ tragedy of the 47 martyrs who sacrificed.

Tombstone was sitting south, with a 5-meter-high hexagonal monument standing at the tomb of the base of 60 square meters, and the monument engraved had the words of “Monument to the Martyrs of March 18,” and there are the names of the martyrs marked on the stone. The tombstones of 1971 “318″ martyrs LIU Bao-Yi, Jiang, Liang Chen were moved from Beijing Institute of Technology to this tomb to commemorate their great contribution in fighting for democracy.

In fact, the 318 Incident was really very tragic event. In the past, on 18th March of 1926, a lot of students and teachers went to a protest against an ultimatum sent by the 8 countries which were invading China in the past. However, the government leader at the time decided to support the ultimatum, which is to pay the 8 countries a lot of money in order to obtain the power of the soldiers given to maintain his rule over the country. He decided to call the soldiers to kill the students and teachers in order to remove the suppressing power. This created the tragedy.

This is really a very sad incident in China, and therefore, if you would like to know about the name of the teachers or student who died in this incident, you could try to visit this Tomb and you would know about how they lost their life to protect the country.

Of course, you should try to respect the victims of this incident because their lost their life in such an innocent incident.

In fact, this is one of the events that encourage students and teachers to take part in social events to protect the country. The view of the tomb is magnificent, but not the kind of attractive ones, so if you would like to visit the Chinese heroes in this tomb, with respect, you could try to visit this tomb.
