Beijing Mortar Pestle Tongkuangyu Scenic Area (in simplified Chinese北京碓臼峪风景区) is located in the Ming Thirteen Tombs which is located in Changping County, about 4 km north-west from Yan You. This area is having scenery formed more than 100 million years ago with the ancient crustal movement and the formation of a strong body of granite, and have undergone hundreds of millions of years of changes.
At the scenic spot for up to 3 km deep there is a canyon in the south from acetabular heap village, with trench around the plants near the Qifeng rock. Two Mountains rise steeply to a water flow, like the Xiongqi steep mountains, and there is beautiful green water to constitute an attractive natural scenic area. Scenic Area from south to north can be divided into Yingbin Score, stratospheric high-Gap, the Gap and Lungtan beautiful view. There is also Lungtan Stream, and there will be more than 50 Units and other natural landscape.

 

Actually, there are a lot of beautiful sights in China. However, this scenic area is a bit different from others. As mentioned above, the view was formed about 100 million years ago. This is really amazing and it would surely be very rare that beautiful scenery could be kept for millions of year.

There is also a lot of relaxing breeze that you would be able to enjoy.
